Children's Liturgy of the Word

All children from Kindergarten through 6th Grade are invited to attend Children’s Liturgy of the Word which occurs during the 9:30am Mass on most Sundays from the end of September until the end of May. This program provides an opportunity for the children to break open the Word in a kid-friendly and age-appropriate environment. After the opening prayer, the children in grades K-6 are called forward for a special blessing and are dismissed from the Mass to the Sullivan Center to experience the scripture readings through listening, discussion and prayer. They return to Mass prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. There is no registration or fee for this program. Children are encouraged to participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word whenever it is offered.

There is no dismissal on the fourth Sunday of the month as this is the Children's Mass.
