Collection for the Unhoused

There are over 10,000 unhoused people every night in the wealthiest county in California sleeping in our parks, parking lots, church doorways, encampments, freeway entrances, and behind shopping centers. We all know that the homeless population has increased greatly over the last couple of years. As part of our Social Action Ministry, we once again would like to prepare care packages for those who are living on our streets.

· Sleeping Bags (good, clean, used are needed)

· Nail clippers

· Socks (men and women)

· Bars of soap / washcloths

· Plastic combs or hair brushes

· Underwear – boxers for men

· 3 in 1 body wash/shampoo (replaces shampoo and soap)

· Tooth brushes

· Rain ponchos/ tarps

· Bottles of shampoo (not larger than 12 to 14 ounces)

· Tooth paste

· Disposable razors

· Lotion (hypo allergenic or nothing with scents please)

· Wet wipes

· Energy bars

Sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweats, jeans, tennis shoes- used but in good shape are okay.

· Hand sanitizer

· Trail mix
